Our History

The Obafemi Awolowo University Centre for Distance Learning (OAU CDL) was established in 2002 to facilitate the development and delivery of part-time academic and professional programmes by the open and distance learning mode.

The CDL’s vision is to expand the reach of education that is open, flexible and responsive to the challenges of a rapidly changing world, accessible worldwide: anywhere, anytime, and to virtually any qualified person who may seek to pursue further studies with the center.
